There’s no competing with our staff!

The international counselor staff at Kimama’s summer camp, as well as the logistical and administrative staff, consists of adults aged 21-30, with background and extensive experience in informal education with youth from Israel and from overseas. We employ 1 staff member for every 5 campers.

The counselors at Kimama, mostly students, have been sent in the past by the Jewish Agency for Israel to serve as directors and counselors at summer camps in the US and in Europe.
 

They are all graduates of youth movements and delegations, and are educators at heart. For this reason, many of them come back to Kimama year after year. The Israeli counselors are students who have completed their army service; the counselors from overseas are also pursuing tertiary studies.
 

The process of recruiting and careful screening of our staff, which is undertaken throughout the year by a skilled team in Israel and overseas, allows us to put together a “dream team” for Kimama – the best staff for your kids.

Our counselors speak at least two languages; they are professional, caring, educators, active and fun. We promise you that they will provide each of your kids with an amazing summer that will be a life-changing experience!
