cancellation policy

Enrollment


Payment for participation in Kimama camps must be settled in full upon registration by credit card (in full or installments) or by bank transfer. Payment by cash or checks will not be accepted for any amount. The registration will not be processed until all payment is received and camp registration forms are completed.

 

Non- Israeli resident campers must pay an additional payment for medical insurance in Israel in the amount of 380 NIS for the Mikhmoret camp, 290 NIS for the Galim camp, and 190 NIS for the Hof camp and the Kimama Van camp. Without the insurance, the campers will not be insured and the responsibility for payment of medical treatment will be completely funded by the parent of the camper. In case the payments required for the camp are not made, the parents will be required to pay additional costs, including legal expenses and attorney's fees.
Camp Kimama cancellation policy in Israel and around the world. 

In any case of cancellation up to two weeks before the start of the camp either by Kimama or by the customer, the customer will receive a refund of 70% of the camp costs. This refund will be paid to the credit card used for the original payment, or by bank transfer for any other means of payment. The balance of the amount of 30% of the camp costs will be kept for the customer as a credit for use towards any Kimama camp in the future, for an unlimited time.


If only a deposit has been paid, the amount of the deposit will not be refunded to the customer
and will be kept for them as a credit towards a future camp. Kimama will automatically charge the balance of the payment. In case of cancellation / departure on the day the camp starts and after, for any reason, no refund
will be given.


Kimama reserves the right to cancel the camp in the event of force majeure, war, security reasons, warnings, military tensions and / or military intervention (even if the Home Front Command or similar government bodies in the United States or elsewhere have not issued a restraining order that would affect the operation of the camp. In addition, the company reserves the right to cancel the activities of the camp in the event of an epidemic/pandemic, including COVID-19 and / or instructions from any government body not to conduct activities, or in any other circumstances beyond the control and / or responsibility of the camp management. In the event of closure, as mentioned above, the customer will receive a refund of 70% of the camp
costs.
 
The operation of the camp depends on the minimum number of participants who register in accordance with the discretion of the camp management. The operation of the camp is subject to the approval of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education. The camp management reserves the right to change the location of the camp as needed. Opening a special track or workshop depends on the number of participants.
Any change in camp dates is based on availability.


Registration policies and cancellations for North American customers For Kimama Camps in Israel, Day Camps in Israel and Day Camps in the US Summer 2023 Registration will be by March 31, 2023.


Remarks
The down payment reserves a space in the camp, however the registration will not be completed until the payment and the registration forms for the camp are completed. Any change in camp dates or specialty tracks are subject to availability. For North American customers, Any request to change a date or specialty tracks will be made in writing and sent to USA@campkimama.org


Payment
For payments- must be paid in full 2 weeks prior to the first day of camp.

Payments will be automatically charged every month from time of registration.

Cancellations

In the event of cancellation of participation in the camp less than two calendar weeks before the opening day of
the camp, or after the opening of the camp, the customer will be charged the full registration amount determined at the time of registration, and no refund will be granted. Any request to cancel participation in the camp will be made in writing to USA@campkimama.org for North American customers. Day camps

The payment for the day camp including transportation is according to calendar week. Non-arrival at the camp on one of the days for any reason does not provide a refund for the days that were not.

Payment

Kimama-Beresheet Camp in New Jersey

• A minimum of 2 weeks registration is required; weeks don’t have to be consecutive. Changes can be made based on availability. • Conversion of weeks to Kimama-Bereisheet Israel can be made at no additional cost until June 30th, 2023 (only when also attending at least 2 week in Kimama-Bereisheet NJ). • A $300 deposit per family is required to secure spots and early bird/discounted rates in our online registration system. Deposit will be charged immediately after completing registration; the remaining balance will be deducted monthly based on your choice of payment plan and no later than the beginning of camp. • Full refund is offered for cancellations made before March 31st, 2023. • Adding weeks during the summer is based on availability; Requests must be made by Thursday of the previous week (I.e 4 days before the session starts). • Rates for additional weeks will be determined by the current price at the time of purchase. • Cancellations between April 1st to June 20th, 2022 must be made in writing via email; registration fee ($300) will be transferred as a credit for next year; The remaining balance will be refunded to the customer. • Cancellations made after June 21st are non-refundable but can be used in full as credit for next year. • Starting June 27th and during the summer, cancellations of 1 week or more should be made in writing via email 14 days or more prior to the beginning of weeks being canceled; the remaining balance would be refunded to the customer if the notice was made in time. • $120/week charge will be added to families using our Manhattan or Hoboken shuttle service. • $100/week charge will be added to families using our Bergen County shuttle service.

COVID-19 policy for Ski camp/Barcelona/Halfmoon for traveling campers

• I am aware of and approve that in the case that my child will need to stay in the Camp country due to Covid-19, an automatic fee of 60 euro per day will be deducted for every additional day after the camp has finished.
